hey hey hey party people!!

I want to start off by thanking everyone who sent me a letter. (you know who you are) They all meant so much to me! 

Also, I am supposed to be packing right now... sorry mom. 

I have been at home for the past two weeks starting my MTC journey! It has been so much fun! My companion, Sister Hansen, is super cool. She crochets like a boss. I mean this in the most loving way, but she reminds me a lot of my grandma before her dementia started going downhill. I love my grandma and I love my companion! 

We are in the 01-A district, and that is no mistake putting us on top. We are the best. I have two elders in my district who are going to the same mission as me so I'll have someone I know on the plane! 

Some highlights of the HMTC:
- being with my family and dog 
- going to the temple for baptisms at 4:30 AM with my siblings and cousins
- spending last Saturday with my ward's youth
- saying goodbye to my brother and sister-in-law (kinda a lowlight to be honest...)
- actually enjoying learning Portuguese (espanhol é melhor)
- making Mac salad and learning the wisdom of Lorene Erickson 
- spending time with my grandparents 
- watching the Chosen (if you haven't watched it, WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH YOUR LIFE?!)
- talking with great friends who are on missions right now and being able to relate with them
- feeling my Heavenly Father's love He has for me more greatly than ever 
- feeling the love that He has for everyone and trying to love like He does
- getting my lightning McQueen crocs #kachow
- finding out that I get to fly out to the MTC with a great friend of mine!!

These past two weeks have been great! I fly out early Wednesday morning to Provo where I will finish out my training for the next four weeks. My P-days will be on Mondays and I would love to hear from any and all of you!!

And we went to another city that is even more in the middle of nowhere.  The car we were in wasn't the  safest either ahaha. #gottalovebrasil As we were traveling, I had a vision. I saw that the car blew up in smoke and that we would be stranded in this city until late. And then... it happened.
