Yeah, it's constantly like 80-90 degrees here so that's so fun.

This week I'm feeling so much better! I received a priesthood blessing on Tuesday and also received a witness of just how powerful the priesthood is when it is used by a worthy holder.

We had transfers this week and....IM STAYING IN GEISEL!! WITH SISTER BARROS!! and Sister Palharin and Sister Doherty are staying in our district !! But, TODO MUNDO VAI TREINAR. (Everyone will train) we are getting 9 NEW SISTERS. We're getting two Sisters who will move in with us and Sister Barros and Sister Garcia (a Sister who will live with us) are going to be STLS!! (SISTER TRAINING LEADERS).

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT/KACHOW MOMENT:

This Friday, I had two spiritually legit experiences. We had lunch with a couple in our ward and they took us to their grandparents house where they were having a BBQ with their extended family. IT WAS SO LEGIT. It reminded me of my families get-togethers every week #loveyouguys. At the end, I felt that I was going to give the spiritual message. Then they started talking about how I was doing really well with the language, then they asked me to give the message. I have done it before and started thinking of a conference talk to look over but I felt that this time I needed to read a scripture. I felt super nervous because some words in the scriptures in português are really difficult to say, but I trusted I the spirit and went with it. I automatically turned to 2 Nephi 33:1. I've never used this scripture before.

"And now I, Nephi, cannot write all the things which were taught among my people; neither am I mighty in writing, like unto speaking; for when a man speaketh by the power of the Holy Ghost the power of the Holy Ghost carrieth it unto the hearts of the children of men."

This could not be more true for missionaries. For everyone, but I'm living this right now. We are merely the facilitators of His great message, the Spirit is the great teacher.

We ended up talking about this for like twenty minutes and the spirit was so so strong!

Okay, second spiritually legit experience.

Later that day, we went to Esther's house. She's the daughter of two members who have separated and her dad is helping prepare to be baptized! We planned her baptism for this last Saturday, the 22nd. Friday, she got GRIPE. 👎 we went over and tried to loft her spirits with a message, and some treats. While we were there, we started teaching about "Learning and Serving in the Church" for when she is baptized. I've never taught this let alone learned really what to say about it in Portuguese. I was STRESSED. Sister Barros took the lead, which I was so grateful for! Then she had to take a phone call with the elderes and Esther and I sat in SILENCE. I felt the Spirit tell me to pick up where Sister Barros left off, but I was scared. But, without hesitation, I started talking and explaining the sacrament, priesthood blessings, and church activities with no problem at all. My voice may have been used but the Spirit was talking.

This was again a super cool experience that further witnessed to me how much God does for us. How the Spirit is there for us and will help us whenever we need. #followthespirit

WHAT TO PRAY FOR:

-Esther and her health to be back up and ready for her baptism this Saturday!

-My skin, still adjusting to the humidity #gottalovebrazil

-The new missionaries arriving this week !

I am so grateful for you all. You guys are my rock. All of you. I feel your prayers, I read your messages (even if I don't reply soon after, I appreciate and will get to them !! Keep em coming!!). I love you all so much!

God loves you and so do I!
