- Meeting My new roommates! Sister Garcia, who was also trained by Sister Barros, and her trainee, Sister EUZÉBIO! They're both so cute and funny! And Sister Garcia is a GREAT COOK. 

- Going to a house that is actually a petting zoo. Alligators, goats, pigs, a million baby chicks, puppies, and a turkey. 

- BOLO

- LASAGNA 

- SISTER BARROS BDAY

- HITTING 3 MONTHS AS A MISSIONARY 

- Sister Garcia and Sister EUZÉBIO getting robbed yesterday... #gottalovebrazil 

- First district council of the transfer !

More about Esther's baptism!

This baptism has been in the works for a while. The adversary had been working HARD to try to keep this from happening by throwing sickness, family emergencies, and other little inconveniences to mess stuff up. BUT GOD FINDS A WAY. This last Saturday, Esther was baptized by her father! And HER WHOLE FAMILY CAME. It was such a cool experience. Esther had the biggest smile on her face from the moment she walked in the Church till she rode off on her dad's motorcycle. 

The Lord will always provide a way. 


SPIRITUAL MOMENT: 

Sister Barros, and Sister Garcia are our SLTs (Sister training leaders). Normally, like 90%of the time, the SLTs are companions. But in this case, they aren't. They have extra responsibilities throughout the transfer like exchanges with other sisters in our zone, different meetings with other leaders, and lots of phone calls. So, when an exchange occurs, one SLT will go with another Sister from a different companionship, and the other with the other. You may be wondering, but what will happen with Sister Peterson and Sister Euzébio? GREAT QUESTION. 

We were originally told multiple different things but what will happen, is I will stay with Sister Euzébio. A TRAINEE WITH A TRAINEE. #whattheheck. At first, I was almost in tears. I'm still getting used to Brasil. To the language. To my area. To the life of a missionary and I'm expected to train a sister who's been here for 1 week? 

Anyway, now the spiritual part. When I was told this news, I was in shock. And was feeling super inadequate and under prepared and overall knew that I would fail. BUT. GOD ANSWERS PRAYERS. After I let myself feel like 💩 for a few minutes, I prayed and asked to feel that everything is going to be okay. God out did himself with His response. I not only felt His love and power, but I felt that I will be prepared to do this. I'm being prepared right now for it. Experiences that I've had these past 7 weeks here have prepared me. A scripture that I've been in love with for the past year or so is Alma 37:37. 

37 Counsel with the Lord in all thy doings, and he will direct thee for good; yea, when thou liest down at night lie down unto the Lord, that he may watch over you in your sleep; and when thou risest in the morning let thy heart be full of thanks unto God; and if ye do these things, ye shall be lifted up at the last day.

Give everything to God. Do it. 

I know this is a long explanation but trust me, GOD ANSWERS PRAYERS. 


KACHOW MOMENT:

I shared the message at two of out lunches this week! One of them, I shared Alma 37:37 and it may or may not have brought some tears out. NOT MINE THIS TIME! It's so scary to talk. But I love to do it. If you know me, you know I've to talk. Not being able to say everything I want to is so rough ! But, God has been challenging me and pushing me to speak. TALK TALK TALK. So I have been. It's not all right, but especially when the Spirit is with me, everything works out.

And we went to another city that is even more in the middle of nowhere.  The car we were in wasn't the  safest either ahaha. #gottalovebrasil As we were traveling, I had a vision. I saw that the car blew up in smoke and that we would be stranded in this city until late. And then... it happened. Thirty seconds after we turned a corner and all we heard was BOOM. and all we saw was SMOKE. everyone was okay but something overheated.
