Little bonus story that I forgot to mention two weeks ago. 

Promise, the subject wasn't clickbait. My bank account back home hacked and robbed by someone named "MegaMind". $1,400. So fun. We were able to get everything back but I don't have a new card here yet so... yippee.

Shout-out to the GOAT. TAMMY LYNN PETERSON FOLKS. Y'all wish she was your mom. She has been my rock my entire life but man alive has she been my BOULDER during my mission. She's someone who I can always count on to make me smile and feel loved. She always laughs at my jokes, and at me. She has such a big heart that is full of Christlike love for everyone. She is one of the strongest people I know.  To know Tammy is to love Tammy.

 I love you mom! 

For everyone asking for an update on my face:

It was initially caused by a product I used in the sun that I shouldn't have used in the sun. AND not all products in the US are the same here. Some are higher concentration, dosages, and things like this. But yes, ultimately, I just burned the HECK out of my skin. It's starting to heal now and hopefully this week will heal completely! Its SUPER DRY. And peeling, not a pretty site. Thank you to everyone for the sweet messages and help! LOVE YOU ALL! 


SPIRITUAL THOUGHT:

We have been "reteaching" the lessons to Esther and its been going super good! Her mom was baptized when she was 14 but has been frequenting a different church for the past few years. Her mom participates in a lot of the lessons, its awesome. While we were teaching Esther this week, her mom went and got her old Book or Mórmon and was showing us all of her markings and her notes inside. THE SPIRIT WAS SO STRONG. The smile on her face was so big. It was a super cool moment! 


KACHOW MOMENT: 

Super hard to choose a moment I am proud of this week because I didn't do a whole lot. But, I really did feel the strength of God more powerfully this week than ever before. I was able to power through the physical difficulties and truly "lose myself in the work". I went out into public looking like a tomato. I felt God's love through the people who tried to help and were amazing and kind. Just like all of the weeks so far, this was one for learning !

And we went to another city that is even more in the middle of nowhere.  The car we were in wasn't the  safest either ahaha. #gottalovebrasil As we were traveling, I had a vision. I saw that the car blew up in smoke and that we would be stranded in this city until late. And then... it happened. Thirty seconds after we turned a corner and all we heard was BOOM. and all we saw was SMOKE. everyone was okay but something overheated. We stayed there working for a few hours and it got dark real fast. We all prayed and the car was ready and then we left! We are all fine but it wasn't the greatest feeli...
