SPIRITUAL THOUGHT:
I can't think of the scripture reference but you know that scriptures "with small and simple things, great things come to pass"? This is the story with Laura. Two weeks ago, Laura and her mom were walking by the church and just walked in. Luckily, we were there on a phone call. Laura is 15 and was curious about the church, so they walked in. Sister cetre needed to finish our phone call so I got up and started talking with them. It was super simple, we gave them a book of Mormon and got their information to talk with them later that week. Well, we tried countless times in these last two weeks to get in contact with her, we invited her to church and seminary and nothing stuck. We were almost about to call it, but I felt like sending one more message with hopes that we could make it work. I wasn't going to give up.
It worked. We had a lesson with her over the phone and she asked how she can be baptized?! We invited her to be baptized and it was so awesome.
This just proves that #sisterpetersondoesntgiveup
KACHOW MOMENT:
Sister cetre gave me this one, but these past two weeks here I have been able make my way around this area SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE LAST 2 TRANSFERS IN MY LAST AREA. I have a talent for having an internal compass, and it's starting to show here. Also, im getting a lot better at remembering people's names !!!
