How's the mainland?!

Yesterday hit 6 months. Woop woop.

WEEKLY LIGHTS:

- taught Junior the Restoration!!

- being late to a lesson and needing to run over a mile from the other lesson... #fitness

- taught Mayara the plan of salvation!!

- meeting Elder Sankare of the seventy!!

- Junior came to church!!

- going on exchanges with a girl in our ward who's thinking about to serve a mission!!

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT:

Yesterday, Elder Sankare came to our ward! He is from the same stake in Curitiba as Sister Palharin!! He called her by her first name in front of everyone 😳 Then he called both of us up to the pulpit and we just stayed there. He talked about mission work and how we're representatives of Jesus Christ. It wad super cool but kinda strange lol.

HERES THE SPIRITUAL PART.

He talked about how we all need to be more like Jesus Christ. Some people reject or judge people who come to church with tattoos and piercings because they aren't following the example of Jesus. BUT THE ONES WHO ARE JUDGING ARE THE ONES WHO ARENT FOLLOWING HIS EXAMPLE. Would Jesus ever reject anyone? No. Never. Nunca. His arms are open for anyone and everyone. My favorite primary song has always been "I'm trying to be like Jesus". So please, go and try to be like Jesus!!

KACHOW MOMENT:

We met with Junior this week after trying for OVER A MONTH. Kachow moment goes to God's grace this week 🙏🙌🤟

WHAT TO PRAY FOR:

-Davi and his parents

- Mayara

- TO BE MORE LIKE JESUS

God loves you and so do I!

How has everyone's week been?!  My subject line is kindly brought to you by Elder Van Tassel and my quote book.  This week's spiritual thought is brought to you by my own stubbornness and President M. Russel Ballard.  Flashback to before I got my mission call. I was so excited to go and serve! I had a sure feeling that I was going to South America, you could ask anyone, I knew I was going to South America. However, I thought I would be Spanish speaking. I had a background in Spanish and am minoring in it at school and overall just love the language. Then I got called to the only country in South America that doesn't speak Spanish. I was in shock for a while which ...
