Hey everyone!! What's good up in the hood?
Thank you to everyone who has been sending messages and emails, it really means a lot! I am so sorry for taking FOREVER to reply... sometimes P-days are busier than the rest of the week!
Subject explanation:
Our area has 15 houses. Okay, that was a bit of an exaggeration. The ration between houses and apartment buildings is 1 house to every 15 apartment buildings. And our area is one of the smallest in the mission. ANYWAY, this week we knocked on about 14/15 of those houses!! We searched almost every road and if there was a house, we knocked.

WEEKLY LIGHTS:
- photoshoot with Sister Olguin

- interviews with President!
- TACOS with Fernanda e Enos!! I almost cried when they said we were eating tacos. I miss tacos so much. I miss Don Joaquins. And we're going back there for lunch on my birthday and she said she's throwing a "comida mexicana festa!" (mexican food party!)
- ZONE CONFERENCE!! We had Sister Cheek visit and give a training. She is the Area Brasil psychologist. She called Sister Johnson and I out for being a companionship with an introvert and an extrovert... I'll let you guess who was who.
- Took another train to our District council
- Went and worked at a convention and gave out 101 Book of Mormons. And talked with over 200! It was a lot of fun to share my testimony and love that I have for the Book of Mormon with so many people! It was also really tiring...
- Getting saved by a brother from the Baptist church when a creepy guy was following us
SPIRITUAL THOUGHT:
Yesterday I opened my scriptures to D&C 1. It was inspired. I was feeling a down about what I was doing as a missionary. I know my purpose but it was hard to feel it. I didn't feel that I could do what I'm meant to do. Then I opened my scriptures. This is when God is ordaining Joseph and sending out all of the missionaries. He gave them the power to seal here on earth and in rhw heavens. This is the time to prepare the world for Christ. This is what we are doing. PREPARING THE WORLD. That the faith of the earth shall increase. The weak things shall become strong. Guys this chapter is full of great stuff and I want all of you guys to go and read it!
KACHOW MOMENT:
We were walking back to our apartment late one night and someone not so good was following us. S. Johnson and I felt strange and we booked it for the Baptist church. There was a brother from the church and he opened the gate for us and said that the work we are doing is too important to be ruined by someone like that. We immediately felt better and ended up exchanging our religious beliefs. It was super cool and honestly a miracle!
