OOOOIIIIII
How's everyone doing?! Last week was insane and I didn't have time to write an email so I did a voice recording... don't know if I'll do it again ahaha
I have missed a few birthdays the past two weeks so....Happy Birthday to...SISTER LIV TAYLOR Grandma Denise Emily Bentli Love you all and hope y'all had a great day !!!
WEEKLY LIGHTS:
- Erivaldo received the priesthood!! He is getting really into family history and is so excited to go to the temple and get the work done for his late wife and his parents!- went to the best area of the mission... LUCENA! We had to take an uber, a balsa (ferry), a bus, a tugboat, and a train. IT WAS AWESOME. - eating two lunches on Wednesday- eating two dinners on Thursday- meeting a lot of people who only want to speak English with us kkkk- Festa de Julinha !!! (it's a party where everyone wears plaid, dances, and eats corn. it's a hoot!)
SPIRITUAL THOUGHT:
I studied the talk "Your Patriarchal Blessing—Inspired Direction from Heavenly Father" by Elder Randall K. Bennet this week. It is such a great one, please go and read it!! It talked about treasuring up your blessing and treating it as your personal scripture. I was reminded of something that my good friend Emma told me while she was on her mission. She had been challenged by her mission president to read her blessing and write down everything that God asks of you. Then, read it again and write down everything that you will be blessed with. THIS WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE. It is such an eye opener. This has helped me treasure up my patriarchal blessing and I know it will do the same for you!
KACHOW MOMENT:
You know that song, not sure if it's well known anymore... but it goes like "OOOOHHHHH we're halfway there WOAH OHHHHH LIVIN' ON A PRAYER." Anyway, this transfer has felt a lot like that. Just living on a prayer. I don't even know if that makes sense but constantly having a prayer in my heart helps me see God's hand in my life and helps me stay positive when times get rough!!
THINGS TO PRAY FOR:
- Davi and his parents- Sister Viscarra - TO LIVE ON A PRAYER.
God loves you and so do I! ♡
