SUBJECT EXPLANATION:
We went to a members vacation house for a service project. It's SUPER CLOSE to this one secluded beach so we walked down and saw it! AHHHH ITS BEAUTIFUL
Hi everyone!
You can't see me but I'm smiling super duper big!
This week was FULL of bumps in the road. I'm not gonna sugar coat it. But, we survived it. And we're still smiling!
My companion got sick :( but, as you may remember, I got really sick at the beginning of my mission and bounced back and forth between the hospital and specialists and stayed at the apartment for about 3 weeks. So I know how it feels to be stuck and wanting to leave. But that also means that I know how to help someone feel better when they are stuck in the same situation!
We're trying to work as 4 sisters in 1 area. ITS ROUGH. I had a really hard time yesterday. There were words said and things done in the apartment that weren't very nice. After personal study, I suggested that we study as a group. We shared what we studied in our personal studies and then we opened Preach My Gospel. One of the sisteres suggested that we study chapter 6 which is about Christlike Attributes. (Ive studied this chapter a lot btw) As we read, we read about charity and love, and patience. The entire time, I was caught in a weak loop of thinking "Wow, *Sister so and so really needs to be paying attention. This would really help her." I WAS LETTING THE ENEMY WIN. I started to tear up and felt really sick to my stomach. I was thinking these things because I couldn't admit to myself that they were really meant for me. Then I read a part that says "Pray to obtain these gifts. Pray to use them." So that's what I did. Which brings me to my....
KACHOW MOMENT:
As we were leaving the apartment to pick up our friends for church, I said a simple sincere prayer, pleading for christlike love for these sisters. And when we go to church and I saw them, I felt so much love and peace and joy. I knew that God was aware of me and answered my prayers!!
SPIRITUAL MOMENT:
I studied the talk "God knows you and Loves you" by Elder Allan T. Phillips. (His accent is dope š) this hit home so hard. I didn't know how much of a needed reminder it was, but wow. I truly know and have a testimony that I am a Beloved Daughter of Heavenly Parents. Who loved me enough and trusted me enough to send me here! And gave me parents who led me to the covenant path and who are helping me stay there. I am so grateful for this identifying title that I hold over everything else.
GO AND LISTEN/READ/WATCH/STUDY/ACT OUT THIS TALK. NOW.
THINGS TO PRAY FOR:
Junior
Gabriel
Ionara
And baby pedro (aleeya is getting a little anxious for you to get out lol)
God loves you and so do I!
