Whats crack-a-lackin brosss

This week was full of the Christmas spirit!! 

Hope you're all enjoying the cold weather. I'm out here burning on the face of the sun. So that's great. 


SUBJECT EXPLANATION:

Its super funny to hear Christmas songs about the snow here. The only "cold" that people feel here is from the air conditioning 🙃


WEEKLY LIGHTS: 

-we ate dragonfruit!! I loveeeee dragonfruit! Its soooo tastyyyyy and soooo prettyyyy

- met a lot of inactive families this week!

- met a lot of members !

- received a blessing :)))

- had a lesson with Brother Tom!! 

- gave a talk in church yesterday ....

- learning how to correct with love ♡

- met someone who served with my friend !!

- watched the stake Christmas concert yesterday. It was awesome.



KACHOW MOMENT: 

our mission had a goal this week to give out 36 Book of Mormons. EACH COMPANIONSHIP. And we crushed it. We saw some miracles. For real.


SPIRITUAL MOMENT: 

I gave my talk on forgiveness! Specifically on how we can receive forgiveness from our Heavenly Father thanks to Jesus Christ's Infinite Atonement. Some days feel like the end. Like there's no coming back. 

BUT. 

THATS THE ENEMY TALKING. 

With the power of Jesus's Grace and Love, THERE IS A WAY BACK. No matter what you may have done, who you may have hurt, Christ is STILL REACHING OUT FOR YOU. 

I love the example in the Book of Alma 36, when alma is recounting his conversion. Verses 20 and 21: 

20 And oh, what joy, and what marvelous light I did behold; yea, my soul was filled with joy as exceeding as was my pain! 

21 Yea, I say unto you, my son, that there could be nothing so exquisite and so bitter as were my pains. Yea, and again I say unto you, my son, that on the other hand, there can be nothing so exquisite and sweet as was my joy!


I love that. We too can feel that joy. That joy that will make us forget our pain. 

Reach out to Him. 

He's calling you by name. 

Come unto Christ.

And we went to another city that is even more in the middle of nowhere.  The car we were in wasn't the  safest either ahaha. #gottalovebrasil As we were traveling, I had a vision. I saw that the car blew up in smoke and that we would be stranded in this city until late. And then... it happened. Thirty seconds after we turned a corner and all we heard was BOOM. and all we saw was SMOKE. everyone was okay but something overheated. We stayed there working for a few hours and it got dark real fast. We all prayed and the car was ready and then we left! We are all fine but it wasn't the greatest feeli...
